What this means for your floor
Subfloor moisture, seams, perimeter conditions, transitions, vapor-control requirements and the selected manufacturer's installation instructions can all affect the finished floor. Final Floors, LLC evaluates the actual substrate and selected product before defining the installation method for Metro Atlanta homes and businesses.
What can change the recommendation?
Water pathIdentify where water entered and which flooring layers were affected. Source control and any required mitigation come before defining flooring repair or replacement.
Subfloor moistureEvaluate the actual substrate with the test method and limits required by the selected flooring system. A dry-looking surface alone does not establish suitability.
Perimeter detailsCheck walls, fixed fixtures, doorways and wet-area edges against the exact product instructions. Expansion and sealing details serve different purposes and must not be improvised.
Product instructionsKeep the current instructions for the exact SKU, approved substrate, backing and installation method. Use those documents to resolve application limits before ordering.
